Escape The Lift
Escape the lift was a group investigation into non-spaces and certain etiquettes that are forced upon us in these inescapable areas. We observed people from within the lift and we then took these observed learnt behaviours of how to 'appropriately act' within a lift and acted upon them. Specifically manipulating the language used, we collated the speech into a series of poems which we then staged and performed when returning to the lift space and as a form of interaction. From this we had therefore, escaped the norm and changed the experience of using a lift.
